- Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
- All four Boilerlykit templates are one-time purchases with a perpetual license. You own the source code, you keep lifetime updates on the tier you bought, and there is no recurring fee on the template itself. Hosting and third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, Resend, OpenAI) bill separately on their own terms.
- What's included in 'lifetime updates'?
- Updates to the template you purchased — bug fixes, dependency upgrades (Next.js, React, Tailwind), new feature merges, and improved docs. Updates do not include cross-tier upgrades; if you bought Starter and want Core, that's a separate purchase (we run upgrade credits on request).
- Can I use the template on unlimited projects?
- Yes for projects you own and operate. You cannot resell or redistribute the template itself, and you cannot use a single license for end-client work without their own license. See /license for full terms.
- Do you handle EU VAT and US sales tax?
- Checkout runs through Polar as Merchant of Record. Polar is responsible for collecting and remitting EU VAT, US state sales tax (where applicable), and producing compliant invoices. You receive a clean invoice from Polar at checkout — useful for EU/UK buyers needing a B2B-grade receipt.
- What's your refund policy?
- Refunds are governed by Polar's Buyer Terms (Master Services Agreement §10) since Polar is the Merchant of Record. There is no separate refund policy page on our site. If something is unambiguously broken on delivery, email support@boilerlykit.com first — we usually fix and replace before going through Polar's refund flow.
- How is the template delivered?
- Instant, on successful checkout. You receive a GitHub collaborator invite to a private repository plus a license email. Clone the repo, follow the per-template setup docs, and you're running locally in minutes.
- Do you offer team or agency licenses?
- The single-license tier covers projects you own. For agencies shipping client sites, SaaSForge Agency is licensed to be re-skinned per client engagement (the marketing-site shape) — read the license page for the exact wording. For team SaaS development, the standard one-time license covers internal team use without seat caps.
